As you travel across the pages of our website, we hope you’ll be inspired by the richness of our historical Christian heritage. Our ancient roots date back two millenia to the first Pentecost in Jerusalem, where you can still visit our oldest churches and meet our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Our Church’s foundation rests on the Lord Jesus Christ, His holy apostles and the triumphant martyrs. Despite the onslaught of persecution throughout our long history, our sister parishes in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and other corners of the globe have stayed focused on the prize of glory, faithfully preserving the sacred Teachings and Traditions for our generation.
Most members of our parishes in America are converts to Holy Orthodoxy from many walks of life, and prior religious or agnostic backgrounds. In their quest for Truth, authentic spirituality, and contact with the historical Ancient Church, they were led by Divine Providence to Christ’s Holy Church. Our parishes consist of young and old who feel a deep sense of love and reverence for Almighty God, relying on Him for spiritual and physical healing. We’re thankful to Him for the opportunity of sharing our story with you through the pages of our website, and we look forward to greeting you if you visit us for Divine Liturgy.
